Issue 1: The "All Pages" Option Fails

If you encounter problems connecting your Facebook pages to AdaptlyPost, particularly when using the "all pages" option, there may be a bug. Even when Facebook indicates the pages are connected, AdaptlyPost may not recognize this if the "all pages" option was used.

Workaround: Choose each page individually rather than using the "all pages" button during the Facebook connection process.

Issue 2: "No Facebook Pages Found" Error

This error means no Facebook pages were detected during the connection process, even if you have admin access. The error message reads:

`No Facebook Pages found. Please ensure you have admin access to at least one Facebook Page.`

This generally indicates that the Facebook account you are trying to connect does not have adequate admin access to any Facebook Pages, or there is a permissions issue with the application.

Solution:

  1. Click "Connect Facebook" again in AdaptlyPost
  2. Click "edit previous settings"
  3. Verify that all required boxes for the page and admin access were individually checked during the connection process

Issue 3: Empty Page List After Connection

If you are attempting to connect your Facebook page but the page list appears empty, your connection settings may need adjustment.

Solution:

  1. Navigate to the Facebook connection settings
  2. Click on "edit previous settings"
  3. Rather than selecting "all pages", pick the specific pages you want to connect one at a time
  4. Also make sure to check your businesses in the settings

Issue 4: The Reconnect Button Does Not Work

If the "Reconnect" button is not functioning, an alternative method is needed.

Solution:

  1. Click "edit previous settings" on the reconnect screen
  2. Make sure you have granted permissions to each page owned by the business individually
  3. Do not select "all" -- instead, choose pages one by one

If you encounter a "Failed to post to Facebook" error citing missing permissions (e.g., pages\_read\_engagement, pages\_manage\_metadata, pages\_read\_user\_content, pages\_manage\_ads, pages\_show\_list, or pages\_messaging), it means AdaptlyPost does not have the required access to your Facebook Page.

To fix this, re-connect your Facebook account in AdaptlyPost and thoroughly review and approve all requested permissions when Facebook prompts you.

  • Make sure the proper business portfolio asset is selected during reconnection
  • Approve all requested permissions throughout the connection process
  • Confirm that the business owning the page you wish to connect is selected
