Before publishing, check the video upload size limit for your AdaptlyPost plan. Creator, Pro, and Enterprise subscriptions all accept video files up to 500MB.
Video Upload Limits by Plan
AdaptlyPost applies the same video upload limits on every plan. Creator, Pro and Enterprise plan users can upload videos with a maximum file size of 500MB.
These restrictions are primarily in place due to the considerable costs involved in hosting large video files. While we recognize this can be inconvenient, these limits help us uphold service quality and keep pricing affordable.
Reduce the file size of longer content or 4K videos before uploading if it exceeds 500MB.
Video length limits
AdaptlyPost sets no video length cap of its own. Each network sets one, and AdaptlyPost checks your video against it before publishing. Instagram feed videos and Reels, for example, can run up to 15 minutes, while Instagram Stories stop at 60 seconds.
Every plan gets the same limits:
- Video length set by each network's own rules
- File size allowances up to 500MB
Creator, Pro and Enterprise plan users receive these limits automatically, with no extra setup needed.
Uploading longer content manually
For videos longer than a network accepts from a scheduling tool, upload them directly in that network's own app. Although this is less convenient than AdaptlyPost's one-click posting, you can share the full-length video there.
Consider producing shorter teaser videos for AdaptlyPost while uploading the full-length versions manually to drive traffic across platforms.
